Silent Turquoise

The night was silent
Except for the sounds
Of Crickets chirping
And tiny frogs sliding down
Into a dark blue turquoise pond
They blended into water
To nature they belonged
A slightly warm breeze of air
Rustled Willow's leaves
And gray fish flowing fair
Weaved with the current's stairs
Moonlight pierced the dark
And through the clouds
Silver life embarked
No longer silent
still
and dark
