Shut down

Blackness, death its right around the corner.
One last breath until you're a goner.
You live a life that isn't that pleasing,
and it's all coming back to get you.
Breath deep, breath hard.
This is your ending.
It's the last chance to say that your sorry.
If not, then the blade is coming down.
You will be history.
So before I shut you down,
tell me the truth.
Why did you ruin my life slowly?

I have also written for a few other non profit organizations as far as an adoption story (if I could find the poem I would post it). Basically, I just started to pick up writing again. If my poetry seems dark or confusing, sorry but that's how I am sometimes. I may throw a few "happy" curve balls. Btw, I am far from being emo or scene or any of those terms, I am just passionate about my writing. more…
