Until I see you again

I hurt yet I am numb.
I scream, but I"m not heard.
I'm running...to nowhere.
I am trying to understand,
yet it's still fuzzy.
I cry, and yet you never see it.
You're not there anymore...
and I may never know why.
I just want these memories gone...
They keep tormenting my mind.
But I know they never will...
They won't until I see you again...

I have also written for a few other non profit organizations as far as an adoption story (if I could find the poem I would post it). Basically, I just started to pick up writing again. If my poetry seems dark or confusing, sorry but that's how I am sometimes. I may throw a few "happy" curve balls. Btw, I am far from being emo or scene or any of those terms, I am just passionate about my writing. more…
