Seek happiness

Your eyes have weighed and measured me whole
and found me wanting you even more
a life that had no meaning until
your hands set fire to a meaningless soul!!
oceans run deep but beaches run dry
the answer you seek has illuded you so
the love that you need could wither and die
if all that you did was only for show
seek happiness only if thats what you seek
and ask for its weight when measured in gold
do not be shy pretty girl its your right
to demand that your man surrender whats yours

life is too short....... its the line that appears
as a dash in between....your life lived in years
on your tombstone it reads...lived in fear and in doubt
if that's how its spent...take the rest of mine now
no means to this end...go back to your tower
no scene can avenge...the death of this hour
the clock is now ticking...time almost expired
dust when it settles...brings the rain to the fire
this can not be done...if i'm fighting alone
the weight is too heavy...cant carry this stone
if i don't do this now...then i'll always dispair
baby please take my plee...in your hands maiden fair
