Rotting Abyss
Sinking in a mist of my own rotting abyss
Tortured by thoughts of an existence missed
As I dream of a time ever-present of a lost past.
To merriment of my loves hope that did not last.
Under an unquenchable heart, I have been deceived.
Her reasons were never specified when she did leave.
She negated all my words with a goodbye kiss.
Cynically she told me I would never be missed.
Someday from the mist of the rotting abyss
I shall meet a loving woman wanting my kiss.
Her lips will be as sweet as a cherry from the tree.
She shall share my life and only want to be with me.
