Relentless Attacker

Pressed It
 Pushed It
 Punched It
 Killed It

With eyes shut
 I heard it erupt
 The sense of sound was guiding me
 I couldn't see
 But I could hear
 My ears will never lie to me
 Pressed It

Again as I embarked
 To a journey in the dark
 I was feeling naive
 It struck me again
 I wished this would end
 So I made it beg and plead
 Pushed It

As I slipped away
 Winning this day
 This battle, but not the war
 Fading away is my memory
 Fading away to history
 But it came back for more
 Punched It

That'll teach it
 That's the last time I reach it!
 Next time I'll kick it's ass
 In the back of my mind,I knew it'd be back
 So I patiently waited, for it's next attack
 This one would be my last
 Killed It

My eyes were now open
 I'm done with just hoping
 It was time for this to stop
 30 of my minutes... gone
 I flicked the switch to off from on
 I finally defeated the alarm clock
