Rebirth

All of my life I lend a helping hand,
Even as a child, I had the mentality of a man,
Though I was weak and I lacked wisdom and courage,
I pushed forward and others I would encourage,
I always stay humble and always remain honest,
Because I made to myself an everlasting promise,
Look into my eyes and I will show you who I am,
And for those who feel, you too will understand,
But if you look away its because you can't comprehend,
So I continue along my path and higher I ascend,
I don't judge others, only myself,
But what good does that do to my own mental health,
I've made my share of mistakes and punished myself greatly,
Now I realize its the mistakes which help to make me,
As I reflect, I hide my eyes and walk alone in the rain,
Because my gaze will hit you like a locomotive train,
So for your safety I keep my eyes to the floor,
Because this stare instills fear into the souls of the poor,
Then I met one who suffered ever greater then I,
At that moment I knew that she had come from the sky,
Now I no longer walk in the company of dishonest people,
As much as I tried, I could never teach or reach you,
I live life for a higher purpose and for others I'm an inspiration,
Our lives are not worthless and everyday is a celebration,
I've learned to accept who I am, and no one can break me,
I walk with the most beautiful spirits alive and we love each other greatly,
