reaction to death

bleeding is too foul of a word.
death and dying are too simple.
homicides aren't frequent.
enough in new york city.
and one survivor of the worlds.
mayhem isnt enough to pitty.
continuous blows to the heart.
reveal wounds of the witty.
to say life is so short.
would be obsured.
because of my own ignorence.
never again will there be.
an unveiling of a dimple.
on my face.
