Rains

Seema Tabassum Ali

A thunderous roar from above
The rains then burst into a downpour
The streets are wet with pellets of rain
There is an o Evan of water outside our home
Children play with their balls and cars...
I myself enjoy the rains a lot
Stand outside getting wet
Then I come inside and start the preparations
For the evening meals.
Glad that the summer has healed!
