Quest for the sun

Light weight feathered dream shadows
Cling to the edge of conscious thought
Resistant to the change in reality, desires
Still fresh in thought, linger at the edge
Differences made of chosen wishes
Bridging the gaps between us completely.

Release your fear, I mean no harm
Feel my strength, warmth of my soul
I am older and wise of vision
I am young, testing the limits
We are new, no mold is set
Lift me as I lift you, higher
Our quest for the sun.
