Our Lives As Stories

Our Lives As Stories

We live our lives as stories

We are but yarn to tell

Beyond defeat and glories we run from fade to swell

We live our lives as events

We are but gamer match

Beyond loser and winner we run from full to patch

We live our lives as dramas

We are but model clay

Beyond forlorn and comic we run from work to play

We live our lives as capsules

We are but tonic cure

Beyond disease and vigor we run from foul to pure

We live our lives as lessons

We are but sample case

Beyond novice and mentor we run from plain to grace

We live our lives as crusades

We are but battle gain

Beyond tussle and accord we run from wax to wane

We live our lives as ethos

We are but moral code

Beyond evil and goodness we run from slack to mode

We live our lives as cohorts

We are but common folk

Beyond union and single we run from loose to yoke
