Our Affair

Our Affair

We close on each other,
tongue and groove
shutting out everything
for a while.
We lock out the noise.
We lock in temporal joys,
sense of escape,
scents of passion,
sounds of intensity,
sense of oneness.
Doors open,
sense of separation sighs,
sounds of awareness rise,
sense of intensity lies,
sounds of our prison cries,
sense of our family's lives.
