On The Beach

By the sea I find more of myself here
To stillness accustomed a tiny dot that will hear
Seagulls calling, water's soft seam drives away fear
Seaweed that'd mellow air and my life's tear...
Seemingly, at least seamlessly burden will 'bear'.

My feet in the water warming the 'memory of me'
Sun on my back reminding me of how it used to be
Trickling of water calming, bringing back the will
Something tells me there is something better still.

Each pebble from the grain of sand sooths
To promises to Abraham the little bird alludes
Say it is yes to all that is good and right
But to put it together you've got to be
 brighter than bright.
 (Listen to the Lord)

Be my missionary in the foreign field
Be the heart that to me will yield
Protect me when all else would blame
and render all the accusations lame.

A Radday
