Of Writing

A few thoughts
Linger for a while
A few experiences
Urge me to relive them
A few emotions
Entice me to give them a shape
If you can call
These intangible somethings-
A shape.

A few get delivered fully formed
Some are still born
But most are
Aborted pregnancies
Which would never grow into their full terms
Even if you put them
In an incubator
Giving shelter, nurture and care.

Oh yes, there are some more
That get diverted
The ones that are wanderlust
Like myself
But they find a way home
In a future
Far or near
And beseech me to
Converse and Conceive
Again.
