No more

Rockin' out I was one night
When a vulture came along.
But he was dressed as a prince,
So I sang for him my song.

He saw the suffering in my eyes,
My skeletal body fade.
Saliva seeped from his mouth,
It seems my bed was made.

Oblivious I was to his game
I spilled my heart for him
As i grew weaker in and out,
He knew that he would win.

Only a few times did he show his real face,
At which I turned and fled.
But soon again he'd reel me back in,
And control what was left of my head.

Until one night, I called for help.
My friends waited at the shore.
They quickly grabbed me from his grip,
Now I see his face no more.

I have always loved writing, all types, but especially in partnership with my music. I sing and write melodies for the words which I create. I am passionate about this. Hopefully, someday it will all pay off. Until then, I will enjoy this for what it is. more…
