My Three Children

Nancy McDonald 1968 (Blytheville, Arkansas)

So many choices

And God chose me

For my three children

Their mother to be

First there came Zachary

Then Amber followed suite

Next there was Rachel

All three were so cute

They brought me such joy

Each and everyday

That I always wanted them at home

To forever stay

But time marches on

And they grow up so fast

I knew that their time at home

Would not forever last

They will always be my babies

No matter their age

For they have always been a blessing

Through every stage

I guess you could say I'm a mother

Who is bursting with pride

For when it comes to my children

My feelings I can't hide

I love them all three

More than words could ever say

In my eyes they will always be perfect

In everyway
