My poetry friends

A carousel of appreciaton dances the night
Departing to a land, safe from fame, and strife
A nightingale dreamed, the firefly flew
Shrowds of darkness, dissapears from view
Songs we sing to get our voice heard
A bluebird cried, his last soar of words
Underneath a poets dream
Became a burden of fame, and greed
Reviews will never embody the heart
And passion will always lead from the start
The path of the lonley, I will gladly take
Then sell my soul, I'd rather escape
Untill the day we meet again
I'll never forget you
My poetry friends.
