My One Lovely Darling

My darling here is looking at you,
You make my dreams come vividly true,
I knew it from the very start,
That you would occupy my lonely heart.

Since you stood there so perfectly strong,
It was a given we'd definitely get along,
Now you are right beside me making my day,
Oh lovely baby what more can I say??

You are making my life feel real complete,
A work of art who is easily so darned sweet,
Your heart's in mine and things go right,
I'm not sad and blue in your arms at night.

While we travel together around the land,
I am so proud darling to hold your hand,
Because I love just walking next to you,
You are my loving man so tried and true.

I want to love you like there's no tomorrow,
Rest assured our lives will be free of sorrow
Since we've got what it takes, baby, I know,
Wherever we go we will steal the show!!

Diana Louise Cote

I am fifty eight years young. I love horses, dogs, cats, chickens, all animals. I live in a rural area outside of Missoula, Montana. I also love to write poetry and hope to publish someday. I also would like to publish a book about something that would be a best seller. I just haven't thought of the topic yet. I am enrolled in the Confederated Salish and Kootenai tribes in Montana. I am Salish from the Bitterroot and Norwegian on my dad's side. I attended the University of Montana with a degree in English, and I did a year of college at Montana State University in Bozeman. I currently attend classes at the Salish/Kootenai college in Pablo. Shay hoy or that's all. Oh except to say I am a widow and my children are all grown. I had seven children but lost one in a heinous way as she was murdered at age 18. more…
