Mother Earth (Spirit of Nature)
Angela Crabtree 1982 (maine)
Mother Earth (Spirit of Nature)
The earth trampled by one's uncaring
Trash lying among her ditches, pollution in her air, and oils in her waters
She suffers a deep pain as her land is being destroyed
Harmony and Peace between animal and human no longer existing
Wild horses used to be plenty and now this beautiful animal, majestic creature is being captured to spend life behind fences and suffering the cruelty of many
Look into their eyes and see their pain
So many crying at night, dreaming of the lands open fields and running wild
Carrying her spirits across the river to a better place, making the journey safe for her guides
Humans not of her nature can ever understand
Try to feel her pain as you sit and feel her earth beneath you
Become one with your surroundings and truly feel what she is feeling
Open yourself up to the possibility of healing both yourself and Mother Nature
Keep her spirit alive with all the rest
