Mother

I don't recall much of my past,
But somehow I know the pain still lasts.
I sometimes wonder what is was like to be
you. You tried your best with what you knew.
The path we all took, seemed dark and long,
some of us stayed weak, some of us grew
strong, but I feel we are where we belong.
I sometimes wonder if I'll completely see
the light. Sometimes I see dim, sometimes I
see bright.
We all can learn from our mistakes, many
risks at life is all it takes.
Thank you mother for being my friend, I
love you always and my heart will soon mend.
