Meet the Day
I shall flee to the hills
in days of darkness and gloom,
when shadows creep to devour,
and trees cease to bloom.
A voice, not loud or proud,
but bathed in rainbow hues
will quietly whisper God's name,
and join with many, as one,
in heaven-heard refrain.
Be still, o restlesss soul,
emerge into dawn,
and meet the day-
complete and whole
