Love

Love is over
Always untrue
A happy heart
Is long overdue

There is no one for me
No one who cares
No one to hold me
No one to be there

Do you want to hold me?
Will you be the one?
Will you be my true love,
And keep me from being alone?

And then in the end,
When it's my time,
Will you be there
To help me cross the line?
