Lost Soul

I feel so empty inside
 I just want to run
 Hiding from society
 Staying out of the sun
 No one ever wanted me
 I've always been put down
 Smiles and cheer from me are fake
 They hide my natural frown
 I've always shown that I care
 Giving all my love
 Hoping someday I'll be loved in return
 A gift from the good LORD above
 I've figured it out
 I'm just a lost soul
 Lost in this lifetime
 No where else to go
 People try to be nice
 Because sensitive am I
 With all the pain and anger I have
 There's only few tears to cry
 When will I be accepted
 Loved for who I am
 People just treat me
 Like I'm from a foreign land
 I can't do anything right
 Or this so it seems
 I try to make people happy
 But they just yell and scream
 Why was I ever born
 No one wants me around
 This life I live is doomed
 Getting burried deep in the ground
 I'm just a lost soul
 Showing that I care
 I want to be needed
 To know that someone's there
 I have no one to turn to
 No one to see my pain
 Getting my heart torn to bits
 Over and over again
