Lose Yourself

Lose your heart
In a universe where love is ignorant
and nostalgia is imaginary
Where homophobia is consistent
and obscurity is conquered.
Lose your mind
In a planet where honor and pride are livid
and guns are a mans best friend
Where fear is entertainment
and pain is a virtue.
Lose your soul
In a world where politics is ideal
and money is exquisitely sinful
Where family and friends are underestimated
and happiness is a conspiracy.
Lose yourself
In a creation where freedom is unconstitutional
and the norm are iniquitous
Where religion is dubious
and your told to believe the contrary.
