Living in my moment

It's that moment
When everything could be right
Or everything could go wrong
That exact moment
When you wonder if it's worth it
Negative emotions, should you fight it?
The silly, crazy, annoying times
When it's on your mind
Will the blindfold come on this time?
It's that soda pop moment
Wicked grins and endless conversations
Nights spent figuring out reborn emotions
Ladies, "the" moment, you know?
After you've lost hope for this exact moment
Doubting it'll ever re-occur, but look at it now
The moment you open up
Vulnerable to the destruction that could await you
Or the full joy you're hoping will complete you
It's that moment of all moments
What makes you smile every single time
While another part of you hopes it's not a waste of time
