Live Beyond...

abandoned by family,
sent out to sea,
far from their heart,
tearing mine apart...

a black sheep in time,
innocent of the crime,
charged with their past,
from love Ive been cast...

receiving their hate,
my life debate,
none did I create,
not denying clean slate...

Ive got my wrong,
its sung in a song,
Ive got my fault,
through it Im taught...

never would I deny,
the look in my child's eye,
how could a parent despise,
when theyre suppose to be wise...?

its their past they see,
when they look at me,
not able to forgive,
miserable they live...

their dying day will be alone,
cold as a ocean bottom stone,
for them I pray,
theyll see love before their dying day...

Im not the only one of such pain,
I see the others standing in the rain,
crying rivers of tears,
holding their fears...

unspoken words becoming feelings,
feelings becoming emotions,
emotions forming waves on the oceans,
seeking a shore for all of their healings...

live beyond the past of another,
love wholeheartedly each other,
mine is just one story,
an ending; showing God's glory...
