Listen Carefully

Scream into the mindless harmony of inconsistence
The octaves resonate in blood tension through your veins
If words are more moving than sounds
What does a Note feel like to you?
Can you hear what can't be heard here?

Bang your head in agreement (Repeat)
Against insanity
Against conformity
Against condemnation
Against the music that seperates you from real life
What are you into? (Repeat)

Melodic suffering makes no sense
There's no fun in standing around trying to act bored
Let me show you how good I can dance (Repeat)
Why aren't you moving? (Repeat)

I'm too cool to be cool (Repeat)
Folded arms may make you seem interesting
But you're too closed off to see things differently
Why do you even care who controls the melody?

All your syncopated systems are failing us
Lean against the wall and wait for the breakdown
It's softer than a Unicorn's cloud inside your heart
Are you having fun yet? (Repeat)

Revelated mysteries make the sky sing of your beauty
Close your eyes and let the stars tell you where you are
Stay in the moment (Repeat)
Let it overwhelm you

Eugene Hetler

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and that goes with Him. I read the Bible and pray daily. I try not to be judgemental but some days the fire comes out like a dragon burping a big gas fire on accident after a big meal. I love to write. Please read waht I write. I love to write things that encourage and hopefully are fun to read and make you laugh til you cry. I even like to write things that inspire and make you think in a deep way some of the time. Whoever's hacking my account and erasing my hard work is cheating me and the people who enjoy my work and it needs to stop or you'll suffer the consequences. :) more…
