Lifting

It seems to me that the light is beaming brighter
That I can plainly see
The world is lifting off my shoulders
And thats a great relief for me
I feel so much happier now,not like before
Keeping away from those lowlifes
Have made me realise I need them no more
I am happy where I am,with the people I love
Trust is still a big issue
But thats to be understood
Fixing the past is a hard task to complete
But i'm trying,that is for certain
But not so easy for others to see
I have made a promise to myself
That I know I am going to keep
I will grow old with the man I love,who married me
