Lifes truest friends

When I was young you was always there,
with gentle arms waiting with tender care.
A heart full of love helped to wipe away tears of pain,
and you did all this and showed very little strain.
You meant more to me then you'll ever know,
I know that all this I feel I never let show.
Jesus my God and my friend,
My truest life companion till the very end.
But the same could be said of a woman I know,
She always had a grin on her face and plenty love to show.
To my Jesus and my Granny no one can compare,
for in my life they was the ones that was always there.
I love you both more then life,
you was always near to take away my stife.
I haven't got to say Thank you to either of you very much,
But I am grateful to both you for my life you did touch.
