Life of a nurse
Call bell rings that annoying sound
You sometimes think you can sit down
Your patient needs you, on goes your isolation gown
Fluff my pillow, fix my sheets
Can you fix the socks on my feet
Pt comfortable time to go
Can you change the channel for my tv show?
Medication given, pt relaxed
Time to go on break and relax
Bathroom break, I forgot to go
Oh my goodness, I wish today was slow
Life of a nurse
Eat on the run
Work all night and watch the rising of the sun
Pt's finally asleep my shift finally ends
Life of a nurse working hard positive message I hope it sends
Life of a nurse not all fun and games
Thank goodness for friends to keep me sane
