Lies
He said he loved me
Like it was something easy
But the truth behind it wasn't there
His lips had spoken lies
But his eyes held the truth
I now am alone
Wondering how or why
I wasted my time with him
This person who was
Nothing but lies
The truth was never there
From the start of things
So why did I say it back
Maybe in hopes that his
Lies would become truths
