Lemurian Dream-Tide

Behind the breeze
A fleece of stillness breaths,
Into the vacuum
Of an open-heartless sanctum;
It's great chamber
Of unknown cavern's cleaves,
Like the freeze
That floods the sunken kingdom.

Up all the washed up avenues
In silken silts lying,
The one grand hub
Of polished marbled mazes lie;
Beholden to ghostly ghouls
Going about still dying,
In grisly grime
Of barnacle chimes sucked out dry.

But that's just how it feels,
How it smells n' sounds
How it looks, if you fell
Into the trend of time to tell;
Beyond it's shores
Circling mile of tide-pool pounds,
Beating retreat
On drunken waves
Where she fell.

Tracy Bollinger

Always liked to write and have written poems periodically over the years. I've never shared them withanyone except for immediate family. Decided to take the plunge and put some out 'there'. But bearwith me, I don't really know what I'm doing. This is therapy of sorts and I hope to let go of the need to rhyme. It's a mental condition. I recently found out my grandmother used to rhyme all herletters to anyone. Go figure. I hope you all enjoy my ranting! I do like what I've seen other's post. more…
