Kisses for Her Faces

My stoic silence.

Invisible pain.

Screams from the darkness

Cold fingers in my heart.

I can not get away!!

Chasing shadows
I've touched the ether.
Stroked her cheek
in the flames.

There is burning treasure beneath her guises!!

I chase the ever setting sun
to find out where her sunrise is.

Strip her of that cloak and veil
and burn my kisses on the stars
of her internal constellations.

Kiss me there
as you pass me like a vapour
Kiss me there
I will not forget
the way those stars twinkle
