Keys

Up in that head of yours are the keys.
With knowledge of their use, you can see.
For others, when the doors are locked,
You use the keys to help His flock.
The knowledge of their gifts are known,
And you help them till they have grown.
It is so sad for me to see
How you can help everyone and me.
And yet when it comes time for you to grow,
You stand all alone so no one will know.
These keys are a gift from God up above,
Given to you in friendship and love.
Someday, when it's time for your rose to bloom,
You'll blossom forever, if there's enough room.
And when you discover from Him grows your love,
He will send you a help mate from up above.
She will stand beside you and build you up,
As if she raised you from a pup.
You'll not remember the days of old,
When you weren't you, amongst His fold.
