Just a Nightmare…

Just a Nightmare…
He is just a delusion I cannot understand
He is the arguments Iclench with my last snuffles
 these things
they've been said in the past
these difference of opinion are probably not my own
I am not the first to transcribe these emotions
 yet
I am the first to sense them
 so it looks as if
I need to be more than a woman with simplyverses
a woman innocent enough to have faith in that I can be just that
I need to be what herequires
 not what hehungers for
I need him to sense me the way Isense him
eagerly with every breathe in and breathe out
 passing through this entry
that sculpts these verses into rhymes
 cautiously and elegantly
 He must have me
 even if he doesn'trecognize it,nonetheless
not all is like it should be
 Heneeds me to bebeautiful
I am not what “he” callsbeautiful with the vaulted back and expanded front
He needs me to be  laid-back
but then again I am not what “he” callslaid-back
keeping concealed what was preordained for your eyes merely
 up to heneededshattered
I'm not up for his playing games,
from time to time a little spades but not if my soul is the game sheet
Nonetheless, until he comes to the his senses, He is just a nightmare.

I use poetry to release my inner most deep feelings. Poetry is my outlet to all. Its my therapy, for all that I have gone through and gonna go through.. A place where I'm able to say what I want. Whether criticized or agreed upon. Somewhere I can totally let down my hair. Think as I wish, Think as I can. Somewhere i can be me, and not care who knows, or sees me. No judgement, complete freedom to be me. more…
