It.

Strong as it may seem,
But fragile as it may be.
Broken pieces scatter around.
Be careful, for it might hurt you somehow.
No, not intentionally,
But it's the only way for it to try to stay sound.

Closed up as it may seem,
But open, it wants to be.
Fearless as you may think.
But scared, is what it really is.

Come on, take a closer look.
And why, you will know.

Perfect as it may seem from the outside,
But torn and scarred it is on the inside.
Quintessential and flawless you see,
Crushed and devastated within it.

Drip by drip.
The blood trickles down,
From the wounds that never healed.

Come on, come closer
And touch it gently.
But be careful,
For even the oldest wounds, hurt sometimes.

Dark and cold it may be,
But bright and warm it is.
A smile on its face
Smoothens its pain.

Alone, it may wonder,
"Would anyone kiss away the pain?"
Wishful as it may be
And hopeful it will be.
For someone to light it's way,
To make the endless nights obey.

Come on, come to me.
Take it away
And show me what love really is.
A miracle it may be for me
Is a future for us, I see.

(What do you guys think the 'it' is?)
