It happened so fast.

It happened so fast,
so I took a walk,
its a lonely path and a winding road I am on.
Passing trees and faintly sounds,
with mud holes and tracks that crosses my path,
leading me on and on down this winding road.
Remembering memories are forever,
and each in kind,
The loss and love I hold,
embraces my mind.
Should I get off this winding road,
or should I go on.
Then I wonder what it is; I left behind,
I wonder what lies ahead,
I look back and remember my path,
and then I wonder why,
I stepped on this winding path.
It happened so fast, I wonder,
can one ever go back.
