indiglow

things often seem strange
when you are alone, time is distant & broken
signaled by the arrival & descent of the sun
which always finds a way in

blankets in the window, cover day
& comfort night, this seems wanted
maybe needed

friends turn memories/faces grow shadows
the lava lamp is blue & wavey/circled shadow
breeds in the corner/tired of night

swimming blue lights make everything dance
double in dark/parade for the mind
filled with carnival intrigue

something/sounds like tragedy/the t.v.
set to explosions & people yell
crude images thrown on the wall
projected with murder surround sounding
more flashes
strobes of color
