Right now I am in a different place
And though we are far apart
I am closer than you may think
I am there inside your heart

I am with you when greeting each day
And while the sun shines bright
I am there to share the sunsets, too
I am with you every night

I am with you when the times are good
To share a laugh or two
And if a tear should ever start to fall...
I will still be there for you

And when that day comes
That we no longer are apart
I will smile and hold you close to me
