Not unlike the first flower of spring
You brought certain happiness
to where little was found.
Your life, fragile as the butterfly's wing,
touched our lives, our hearts,
our very beings.
To have known you
for such a short time;
only to have you taken away
so quietly out of our lives,
so quickly,before we really had the chance
to grow to love you,
seems so unfair, so unjust.
Our short time will always be remembered,
each time the dew falls, the flowers bloom,
