In a Dark Cold Room

July 13, 2003
11pm-up to now

I'd fallen asleep
till something jolted me awake.
I groaned, rolled over
and wrapped a pillow under my ears.
I again fall asleep.

Aftershocks!

loud cries coming from my mom
loud cries coming from my siblings
battered wife...
voices of terrible fights...
in that cold room.

Actions I've made to secure my mom...
Severe insistent of not opening the door..
to avoid the knife...
to avoid the flow of blood.
The courage to talk to that man.

I kneel...
I kneel...
I weep...
I kneel...
and weep
and almost die in weeping.

Hearing voices in tears on that cold room
Realizing the tears of mine
inability to speak, totally mute.

But I decided to stood up
The courage to start a new one.

I again fall asleep
but in reality I am not
Till something jolted me awake.
I saw mom in her weary eyes
I saw my dad lying in the floor
breathless.

( For the wanderers of who killed my father, the killer is he.
For the hatred one feels
and love were not pure,
It will be considered gone
and just happened
once upon a time.)
