Imperfection

When I look in the mirror what do I see?
All of my imperfections staring back at me.
I hate how I look and I hate how I sound.
Oh how I wish I could turn this around.
I try to stay positive when I don't like what I see.
But instead the tears keep building inside of me.
Oh why do I feel like the worst piece of junk?
And does everyone have this many skeletons in their trunk?
I feel as if I am just a freak.
I wish that I could find the answers I seek.
I want to feel like I matter to me.
Is this even possible or beyond my ability?
God please help me do what it is that I must.
And that is to put in you all my trust!
