I would never keep you

I would never keep you

I would never keep you
From where you want to go
Love must be free to breathe
Or it becomes rust

My love is faith
Full of joy and hope
My love is never binding
Like a brittle rope

Stay if you wish
And my love will remain
Leave if you must
And perhaps we will meet again

Soundtrack: “I can't make you love me- Bonnie Raitt, Midnight Rider – Greg Allman”
