I lose My Soul

I place an ice cube on fire
It melted and it extinguished
the fire.  Either way I lose my
soul.

Shall I touch you? my hands quiver
Hide tide blood inside my heart, desire
peak and lustrous feeling spread.

I place a candle on fire
It liquified and it turned off the fire
Both ways I lose my mind.

Should I hold you tight? my pulse
beat faster and faster, waves of emotion
rise to the sonnet of my heart.

Yes, I place an ice cube on fire
It melted and it extinguished the fire and either
way I lose my soul.
