I Don't Care How Brave You Are

I don't care how brave you are or how you choose to die.
What matters is the role you star
and how you cut a pie.
I don't care how well you hook or how you choose to fish.
What matters is the hope you book
and how you make a wish.
I don't care how much you tend or how you choose to sleuth.
What matters is the rule you bend
and how you hold a truth.
I don't care how high you fly or how you choose to soar.
What matters is the aim you try
and how you shut a door.
I don't care how far you stray or how you choose to go.
What matters is the plan you lay
and how you eat a crow.
I don't care how small you dare or how you choose to cope.
What matters is the love you share
and how you keep a hope.
