I Cried

I kicked.
I swam.
I found a hole.
I was born.

I smiled.
I laughed.
I saw horrible things.
I cried.

I made friends.
I played.
They Betrayed me.
I cried.

I met a boy.
We fell in love.
But I found him with another.
And I cried.

I Moved Out.
Without saying goodbye.
My Parents Died.
And then I cried.

I grew old.
Alone and cold.
I felt weak and numb.
And then I met my own fate.

I kicked.
I swam.
I found a hole.
I was born.
