High Hope



I sat here as you never showed up.
I stared into the door
As if you would open it,and yet it didn't.
I dreamt of you as if it would come true.
I made wishes
As if you would ever really happen.
I kept my chin up.
As I began to feel that
You were just another crush.
Another nothing,but a hopeful thought.
I listened to you.
As if you would hear me when I spoke.
In that way were the words dance in your heart,
And the words tingled within your bones.
I looked at you.
As if you had never been seen.
You saw me
As if I was just anyone or thing.
hope to high...results to low.
Without them though you would never no...
