Heroes Never Die
I can still remember
the day he died.
No one ever knew, but
deep inside, I cried.
A man amongst men,
so proud, so tall.
A giant, it seemed.
Who would never fall.
When he died, I felt
so small inside.
As I said goodbye, for
myself, I cried.
Now, in my mind he
lives, even still.
And in my heart, he
always will
