Half A Mind

Half a mind is clearer
than a hazy whole
Get yourself a hearer to help you console

Half a mind is deeper
than a spacey head
Get yourself a keeper to help you embed

Half a mind is keener
than an empty skull
Get yourself a gleaner to help you annul

Half a mind is brighter
than a vicious wit
Get yourself a fighter to help you acquit

Half a mind is quicker
than a racist bent
Get yourself a ticker to help you repent

Half a mind is better
than no mind at all
Get yourself a getter to help you recall
