glitter in the moon

brushing the hair out of her eyes
speaking rosebud tenderly
he takes her into his scared arms
until the stars comes dancing through

hushed words no one could understand
whispers of glitter in the moon
spinning starlight twisted tears
of opened, violet eyes and wings
to fly away-
rock a by
rock goodbye; goodnight

sweet dreams to those who dream
lost ballads
it takes two to find.

when the moonlight glitter falls
to kiss two hearts goodnight

Meghan D.

obviously im not a famous author (only a fifteen year old dreamer), but my poems, simple as they are, mean a lot to me. i need help to refine them and make the more beautiful for the reader though. Wish me luck! *zoom scribble*I've actually gone in to song writing, trying to figure out a way to share that with others too, if you know of a way, let me know! I'll still be on here to give feedback to others, I love reading everyone's poetry- but unfortunately, peotry's not flowing out of me anymore, it's lyrics :) not regretting a thing though. oh- and i love criticism- bye everyone! more…
